We at The Young Residents of Espoo society (Espoon nuoret asujat yhdistys) aim to help young people in all walks of life, specially those who have freshly moved out of home. Our newest project is to support the leisure activities of the 12-25 years old. We are starting a video club to instruct our teens and young adults with the use of new technology and help them explore and tell about their world and improve their self-expression. The club will be completely free for all participants and based on volunteer work so anyone can take part.
We are raising funds for the purchase of a drone with a high-quality video camera. This new tech enables diverse and imaginative camera angles and gorgeous aerial view filming. The possibilities are almost limitless. Our priorities are quality, longevity, user-friendliness and most of all safety. We have settled upon the DJI Mavic quadcopter (1499,90€ including side equipment and bag, 4k camera) and Apple iPhone7 (848,90€) for drone surveillance, video storage and also editing.
Help us make this dream come true and make it possible for these young people, regardless of their family’s income, to craft and tell their own story.
